In the second game of the tournament, the two German rivals Team Alternate and Mousesports came up against eachother in what people expected to be a thrilling game.

A lot of people expected this to be one of the best games in the tournament with the rivalry being so big between to two teams but it seemed more like a pushover for the newly named Team Alternate.

Now everyone who plays the game will know that the map de_train is massively Counter Terrorist sided but with two teams of this calibre going at it for a big prize purse you would not expect Team Alternate to take the first half 15 - 0 only needing one round going into the harder side but this is exactly what happened.

Mousesports did put up a fight going 7 - 0 ahead but Team Alternate finished off the game in the 8th round of the second half picking up the one round they needed taking them into de_inferno with a 1 - 0 map lead.

The second map between the two, de_inferno, was a lot closer. Alternate managed to take a 11 - 4 lead and a lot of people though the game was over until Mousesports took it to the last round but only just losing out to a last gasp effort from Team Alternate. Alternate will go on to the winner bracket final to face fnatic while Mousesports will have to defeat Roccat in the lower bracket to stand any chance of taking home first place.
