Gravitas part ways with their CS team
The Danish scene is facing another change since 
Gravitas Gaming has announced the disbandement of their Counter-Strike team.
Formerly known as theclan, the Gravitas Gaming Counter-Strike team joined the organisation in October 2007, following their departure from H2k-Gaming. The debute of the team was quite successful while they would had some hard times later on, which was solved by the addition of spx in the middle of the season. Although the team was one of the best in Denmark, they underperformed internationnally, failing to qualify for the ESL Extreme Masters Season II Playoffs in Hannover, Germany.
Now parting ways with the organisation with mutual agreements, the six players will no longer be playing together, as stated in the official team's website. Jonas 'whiMp' Svendsen had to say:
"Sadly this is the end of this fantastic ride. We have been truly satisfied playing for Gravitas Gaming, however because of the lack of consistency and big wins throughout the past few months this was the way it had to go.
The last six months have honestly been so amazing because the professionalism and dedication that the people behind Gravitas Gaming have brought us gave us the absolute best conditions as professional gamers. Big thanks to Corbin, Gareth and Rich! These months and our trip to L.A. will be something I'll always remember!"
However, this is not the end for Gravitas Gaming in the Counter-Strike scene as Gareth Leak, operations manager, stated: "This may be the end of our current Counter-Strike 1.6 team, but not the end of Gravitas’ involvement in Counter-Strike. Keep your eyes open for an announcement coming very soon."

it look like cs 1.6 is starting to get old . Shame, probably soon they'll move to code4 or source :/. Shame for such a great game ;/
