Team Excello, one of the best Portuguese organization, has acquired the famous Finnish Counter-Strike team CMAX.gg.

During the past weeks, the Finnish players were looking for a new organization as they weren't satisfied with CMAX.gg's support. Today they finally have found a new home and will be playing under the Excello tag.

Previously adding former exotic Portuguese team in order to strengthen their place in the community, Excello is now taking a new step on an international level.

Statement from team captain Slaava "Twista" Rasanen:

"For a little over a month we have been searching for a new organisation for our team (CMAX.gg). Now we have found one. We got many offers but we still waited and wanted to think, so that we would not rush in to the first offer we got. We are proud to announce that from this day on, we will be known as Team Excello! We are more than happy to get this chance and we will do our best to succeed under the name of Excello "

The Finnish guys has just qualified themselves for the Extreme Masters Grand Finals (which is going to be held in CeBIT later on this year), beating ALTERNATE aTTaX by a 2-1 score. But the ESL event won't be the first one for them under their new tag as they will soon be flying for Moscow, Russia, in order to defend their title at ASUS Winter 2008, held from 23rd to 24th of February.
