Counter-Strike Banned in Brazilian State
Counter-Strike has been banned in the 
state of Goias. Why and what consequences will this prompt within Brazil? Will more games be banned in the state of Goias? And will these actions be followed by other states?
Two games (Including CS) have been banned because they are seen as violations to following rules:
- "because it is harmful to the health of consumers in offense to Articles 6, I, 8, 10 and 39, IV, all of the Code of Protection and Defense Consumer."
- The step has been made because of the game’s realism and theoretical use of learning tactical war skills and guerrilla-warfare.
Such precautions have been seen before, but the question is, whether or not this will go through the Brazilian states like wild-fire. And if so, what will become of the teams such as MiBR? Would they relocate to another country?
The other game that was banned along-side Counter-Strike was Everquest.
Banned due to the violence in the game and it's nature.

Although I don't agree with ban on counterstrike, at least (though not much consolation) they back back it up with specific reasoning.
But Everquest? - not realistic on a general level - the violence portrayed is not close to real life - does and can't teach/reinforce guerrilla warfare What's left from the reason they provided? "its nature" ....... What? | |

Man, Brazil is the perfect country to live.

and theres an update to this news :
the games' sales has been forbidden in the whole country, but its use hasnt considering that pirate games wont stop being sold, this is a big step back for the game industry in brazil , since cs is one of the best sellers out here now we are free to use illegal copies but buying original ones are a crime , so brazilish... =^.^=
