KODE5 USA Finals,
eMazing Gaming is facing
x3o in a best-of-three format, earning the spot to represent the country in the global finals which will be held later on this year, with a 2-1 score on former Turmoil team. At that time eMg was using stand-in player
Kevin "aZn" Wang, who shortly after their victory, was announced as an official addition to the team.
Moreover, during the Grand Final, x3o was using
Shaun "hostile" Catron as a stand-in for
Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert, who unexpectedly left the team in order to join eMg last week. x3o's loss could be explained by Gilbert's move as the team didn't had much time to practice with their new lineup, while eMg strengthened theirs with the talented player.
Gameriot featured eMg's manager Matt Marcou and player
Scott "evolution" Cavallero, as well as x3o manager Nick Fitz and player
Matt "PaTyoJoN" Lancosta in an interview dealing with KODE5 Finals, Gilbert's move and the future of both teams.
