WGTCL Week 8 - results & preview

WGTCL

WGTCL - Week 8 Results

Division 1

Let's take a look at last week's matches and their results:

LRM 1 - 3 3D: I think no one expected the result of this Clan War. 3D played excellently. From LRM, only the Polish "star" MIStrZZZ managed to win his match. The 2v2 games were postponed and will be played at another time.

LighT 4 - 1. BW: The Swedish team BW- it's losing again and again. With this mood, they have recieved a position for Division 2 for next season.

ash 1 - 3 xLo: Excello takes the first position of the number one division, by winning 3-1 against the German team ash. Looks like xLo's new players are doing a good job.

Lyra 1 - 3 aFz/pAq: aFz/pAq wins the Russian derby, but one game is still in the process of being scheduled and played.

MgZ 4 - 0 F2F: ash is continueing on their losing streak, which is very worrying. Only MaKa and Do0m won their 2v2 games and got one more point for the German team.

Division 2A

rSk 1 - 4 nB: There is a big surprise at Division 2A this week! The leader of the league, rSk, lost against nB, a team that is now placed #7.

Keepers 1 - 3 gH: The Australian team gH won this unfinished Clan War with a score of 3-1.

LG 3 - 2 osR: The LatinGamers are on fire! The reforms of this team in the last few weeks, to start a winning streak that may save them from going down to Division 3. Congratulations to them!

NaW/Qpad 4 - 1 MB: Excellent job by the Swedish Qpad sponsored team NaW. Good tactics and lineups allowed NaW players to win..

osR 2 - 3 BringIt: The Mexican team wins against the Chileans and recovers the chance of fighting for the promotion to the absolute league of WGT.

Division 2B

ToT 5 - 0 faculty: ToT is still on fire. No loss yet in the whole season.

SR 2 - 2 MofD: Here we have an unfinished and tied up Clan War. The current result is a tie game, so the postponed game will be decisive to know who'll be the winner

fire 1 - 4 sT: Good job by the Sexy Team winning by 4-1. Only in the 2v2 games could fire get one more point for their collection.

DK 3 - 2 MYM: Unexpected results for everyone. Sen, Darkgamer and the pair of green and YinSul could not win any of their games. We hope for more luck next week!

Nt 2 - 3 ScT: NoctUm, leader of Nt, looked at this result as a complete failure for achieving their major objective, which is promoting to the better Division.

WGTCL Week 9 Preview

Division 1

Lyra vs. LRM: The Lyra team, lead by YelloAnt, will play this Sunday against the second-placed team LRM. The favourites to win are the Spanish, but Lyra expects to be the surprise of the week.

LighT vs. MgZ: The French team MgZ needs this win more than ever before this season. MgZ was placed in the 3rd position, but now after some losses it's 3rd, and have a new competitor: xLo

BW vs. ash: Neither team had a good season. This Clan War probably won't make a big change in their trajectory.

3D vs. xLo: Excello looks forward with the new roster and after winning 3-1 this Sunday.

aFz/pAq vs. F2F: 3D looks at this Clan War as a chance to climp up in the ranks, but ash will not be that easy to beat. Both teams need to win for similar reasons.

Division 2A

rSk vs. MB: rSk is again the favourite for winning this Clan War, even after losing last week.

osR vs. nB: This will be quite a close Clan War. Looks like it will be interesting and the winner may be decided in the last match.

BringIt vs. Keepers: BringIt looks at this Clan War as a great chance to fight for promotion.

iG vs. gH: iG, the team that didn't acompplish the objectives proposed before starting the season, hopes to win this Clan War against the Infernal Gamers.

LG vs. NaW/Qpad: Will LG repeat the last week results? The LG's co-leader RekAiL expects to continue with their winning streak.

Division 2B

ToT vs. ScT: ToT is the clear favourite to win. The German team won against MYM the past week, but they don't except to repeat history again versus ToT.

fire vs. MYM: Both are great teams, but MYM in the second place of the clasification will probably have a better lineup than fire.

sT vs. Nt: The Sexy Team is on a winning streak and will try to continue it by winning against Nt.

faculty vs. MofD: This Polish team has been doing well this season, completely opposed to the Germans, seeing that they are having bad times.

DK vs. SR: Both teams expect great results from this Clan War, but there can be only one winner... Who will it be this time?
