Summary of ICCup-CL Season 2 Division A

As you can see, the Teamplars of Twilight have become champions of the ICCup-Clanleague Season 2 although they lost the match against second placed Los Reyes del Mambo.

In an amazing final the decision for third place was finally decided on last Saturday. With MYM.F91 winning the last postponed game MYM secured the third place with just a slight advantage over Team Excello that reached 31 points.

While the MicroGamerZ ended in the midfield, three teams struggled for the last Division A spot for the next season. Before the postponed games of aFz/pAq and Lyra were played, these two teams and n!faculty all had 18 points, but with Lyra losing and aFz/pAq winning their game the decision was made here, too. aFz/pAq will stay in Division A while Lyra and n!faculty will go down.

Only one team was certain to be relegated after the last playday: Team Light. They couldn't compensate the departure of important players such as Chosen. We will see them with n!faculty and Lyra in Division B next season.

Never write off the Russians and the Americans...

With the two Russian teams (pAq, Lyra) leaving Division A one could think you got rid of the Russians. That is wrong! Two more Russian teams are being promoted to Division A. Team Team RoX won Division B1 and 3D Clan Division B2. Coming with them is MicroMedia (with Idra, Skew, G5, Artosis and Nony[all USA]) (B1) and the Polish team SuddenDeath (B2). Team Rox that has become especially dangerous ever since it gained a new sponsor which resulted in three more players signing in, the Russian legends Ex, Androide and Advokate.

What happened to MYM?

MYM.Max comment to the season:
"I think we can be satisfied with our 3rd rank. The season was influenced by our fusion and so, we had a pretty bad start. After that we could stabilize our performance and we finally reached the top3. Good job guys and i guess we can aim for the championship in season 3!"
