A lot of people who've been a part of the Counter-Strike 1.6 scene for years, should know the person behind an interesting step taken today. It's the
Team-3D player,
steel, current
compLexity player,
Rambo, who together with the eSport writer
Thorin, have taken an interesting look at our beloved game: CS 1.6.
This has been done by them writing a book, which nearly consist of 200 pages in a digital format. Some may think that the length given isn't actually that long compared to other normal books, but at the same time, when buying the book, you also receive movies, with a total length of 50 minutes. The reason behind creating this book was to give people a full view into the world of CS 1.6, by looking at aspects such as: to handle frustration, training, how to handle 1onX situations, maps, headsets, keyboards and so on. Even though we're experiencing a new publication in an e-book format, a copy of the book still costs as much as 30$.
The new book is called "The art of Counter-Strike", and it's an exiciting step to take, in order to teach people new ways or even exisiting ways of handling given situations aswell as getting a look into which keyboards etc. are be suitable for gaming.

While I think the concept is really nice - and will possibly evolve over the next couple of years (just look at poker and the various poker-papers that has been published as EBooks) - I really have my doubts if there is content for 200 pages :o Anyway, one more thing to my wishlist!
I'm forever blowing bubbles!
