Powerhouse gaming enters the COD4 scene

Yesterday, another organization decided to battle for international glory in the Call of Duty 4 scene. A lot of teams have recently announced their best suggestion of an upcoming top international team, which so far looks quite interesting. As a clear indication of this development, 293 teams have announed their participation in the CODQCUP.

It's the American organization, United State- Powerhouse Gaming, who announed their addition of a European Call of Duty 4 team, their first step towards being a part of the international COD4-scene. Having a European team under their belt, means that Powerhouse Gaming in other words is making their brand international. Taking this step into the international scene must have been a choice due to the fact that more and more organizations are signing up with teams in order to compete for glory. We've seen a lot of the biggest organizations in the world adding a COD4-team to their stable, but taking in former Sweden ViolenceIsBad and Internationa- Overload players, it seems that Powehouse Gaming has acquired themselves some decent gamers.

The Powerhouse Gaming COD4-team will henceforth be:

Netherlands Tom "vato" Verdonk
Netherlands Peter "peitje" Bijl
Netherlands Sam "uteLise" Vis
Netherlands Ferenc "djunkii" Gal
Netherlands Nick "creaMz" Eijsink
Belgium Wim "phantom" Wienen

A lineup who dreams of having real professional gaming careers as everyone else, and aims to put the North American organization in the international spotlight by winning different LAN-tournaments. Player Tom "Vato" Verdonk told Team-Dignitas.org:

"We're very delighted to be a part of the North American organization known as PowerHouseGaming which are known for their stability and overall high skill. We are going to do our very best to win as many lans as possible and we're looking forward to give the European community a taste of what PHG is really about! Overall, this opens up new possibilities for us as a team and opens a gate to the real professional gaming careers everyone dreams of at the highest level. Shoutouts to robinzjaa, charlezy, v1oqor and all our sponsors!!"

We wish them the best of luck from here, and hope to see them challenge for international honor in the coming year!
