cArn: 'face wouldn't be able to earn a place in fnatic'

Every since Meet Your Makers decided to disband their former Counter-Strike 1.6 team, rumours has been ongoing about a pending link-up between Sweden Johan "face" Klasson and one of the best cs-team last year: Sweden fnatic.

According to GotFrag.com this is however not the truth.

Speaking to team captain Sweden Patrick "cArn" Sättermon rumours supposedly got shot down nearly faster than they erupted back when the disbanding took place. Face had since his department from Sweden Ninjas in Pyjamas had the honor of being linked with the swedish giants. Being a free agent, guessing had been in the high seat for those people wanting to predict the future for the CS. 1.6 scene.
However cArn explained to GotFrag.com:

"I can confirm that a transfer like that is not an option, or even something suggesting line-up problems in our team"

Having performed extraordinary in the year of 2007, making changes in the current lineup wouldn't make sense for the team captain, who although stated that he found face to be a great player, but as he said:

"I think he is a talented player, but I have no further opinion about him since we have never played together, people seem to forget that you have to play together with a player to know one's skill, you can't just look at frag rating and frag movies and pick players for these reasons."

This means that star-player face still is a free-agent, and it's going to be exciting to see which team he joins up with in the future. But for the now being: fnatic isn't an option according to team captain cArn. On the other hand the team did not perform so well in the last quarter of the year, which was most evident during DreamHack Winther 2007, where the team only achieved a 5-6th place in the tournament - it will be great to see how fnatic will pick up from here, having a busy as well as important year 2008 ahead of them.

it would be awesome to see face in such a good line-up. buw as cArn said, never played with him, so there would be few problems at the start

I don't even see why Fnatic should change their great lineup. Like Carn said, altering the lineups is not even an option.

He is right, face is a good player, but no reason for fnatic to change their line-up.
