Throughout this year a lot of qualifications has been held across the world in order to determine which teams, would be given the opportunity to attend the KODE5 Global Finals in Moscow. About the Grand Finals being thrown in Moscow something interesting showed up today.
While rumours were having it that the KODE5 Global Finals were going to be held in Moscow in February 2008, KODE5's Revolutionary-in-Command, Lester Lau, reported today that this information is sligthly incorrect. Lau went on to explain to Gotfrag.com that the final decision regarding the destination and date of the huge event still was being considered. However it was told that this would be announced in a couple of weeks:
"We are currently putting the finishing touches on our 2007 Global Finals and will have more news for everyone on the next couple of weeks. Thanks to the community for their patience." - Lester Lau
A couple of weeks ago SK Gaming ran the story of a possible date and location of the KODE5's Global Finals, because this information had been given on a website. As of today these rumours are now effectively shot down. The date of the event should have been in February 2008 in Moscow, Russia.
Having held a lot of qualifiers across Europe this news is surely going to make some teams rethink the situation, because new travel plans surely are to be made, when the news about the final destination and date arrives.
