With the release of patch 2.3, we have all had time to not only play, but also get to know exactly how it affects game play in both PvE and PvP aspects. These aspects are both great parts of the game. People love to PvP, PvE, or both. I for one enjoy all of the above, and love working for my levels.

This patch, which was released on 11/13/2007, added a lot of different class changes, as well as a whole new 10 man dungeon to explore. This dungeon is The Gods of Zul'Aman and adds another great adventure for all you PvE and dungeon raiders. Don't feel left out PvPers, they also added some nice little bonuses for you. There is now a daily quest giver whom gives a quest for a different battleground each day. This not only keeps interest in quests, but also makes gaining honor a lot more fun with a goal in mind. Also, previous arena items can now be obtained by using honor points, allowing those late levelers to grind their way to arena gear, and be decently geared vs their fellow opponents.

The improvements on certian areas of gameplay exceed my expectations. The remodling and addition of quests in Dustwallow Marsh make those who disliked this area, (like me) believe that I might actually make it more of a habit to head there and try it on my alt. Impressed by the effort to make this game as enjoyable as possible, Blizzard comes through again in this patch, creating new and exciting adventures and designs.

I myself, have a level 70 hunter, and after playing with this current patch and changes to my hunter, I think this patch is awesome. I know, they made it even easier to play a hunter, but they also took away a few fun aspects, as kiting with wing clip is reduced when you can shoot with a no dead zone. They made us much better in PvP, but also added us strength in PvE. We are not the most used class in arena, but I will tell you that we are sure a lot of fun to play.
