Well folks, if you thought Sunday night’s WPL semi-final match between Team Delta and ieS virtual gaming was scorching, you could say Monday night’s was an infernal! The new Generation team vs PGS Pokerstrategy WPL semi-final Clan War ended with a score ratio of 3:2 to PGS Pokerstrategy.

The 2 points that new Generation team accumulated were from default wins, as PGS.PS.sLh and PGS.PS.ShrieK were absent for their matches (to my understanding). This meant the rest of their matches were critical, they could not afford to give up any more points.

The matches between PGS.PS.Palad and nGt.Favorable were absolutely amazing. You could tell both players were constantly pushing each other to the limits. PGS.PS.Palad was first to claim a victory but nGt.Favorable and his casters evened the score in the second match. Like a pendulum the third match swung towards PGS.PS.Palad.

After PGS Pokerstrategy pulled off a back-to-back win in the 2 on 2, it finally came down to the game breaker. An Undead mirror, PGS.PS.ShaDe vs FiX. FiX took the first fall. PGS.PS.ShaDe’s Frost Wyrms didn’t work out, which cost him the second round. Once again all was riding on the final match, both players put all their heart into this match but it was PGS.PS.ShaDe who sealed the game with victory.

PGS Pokerstrategy will now face off with Team Delta in the Finals of WPL! These 2 teams had already crossed paths during the league season (as the were in the same group). Will Team Delta get their revenge? or will PGS Pokerstrategy confirm their dominance.
