World Eaters disband

WEIt is just several weeks since the German DotA-Team World Eaters had to deal with huge roster changes, which brought about problems for the team. Now, the Germans decided to disband the squad since they were not even able to line up enough players in the past weeks. United State- Team Pandemic already replaced them in the ClanBase EuroCup XVI before they played a single match in the tournament.

Most of the old World Eaters members quit DotA due to a lack of motivation and so the team went straight downhill over the last months. This includes several key-players, for example Germany U_nited, Germany Fips, Germany PacMAN or even their manager Germany Mad, who were the very foundation of the old WE back in the beginning of 2007's success.

At that time World Eaters managed to get picked up by the German multigaming-organization Germany n!faculty, but after some disappointments and lack of support and motivation the teams parted and n!DotA was rebuilt as World Eaters in the beginning of july '07.

The now disbanded squad of WE looked like this:

  • Germany Kruemel
  • Germany Kuroky
  • Germany Rancore
  • Germany Chill
  • Germany Exor

Full of sadness that this old team disbanded we're looking back into the past and focusing on the great, successful time WE have had. The teams' major achievements were MYM Prime Defending #4 were they placed 2nd, the win of the DotA League: Pick League Season 6, as well as the last month's DotA League: Pick League Season 7 Grand-Final, where they lost against Russian Fede- sP[Palit].kow3 and ended up second.

Furthermore there are several rumours about Germany KuroKy; it is said that he's already in touch with the most successful and best DotA squad of the last few weeks, namely Germany ieS.DotA, as well as with Germany vae.DotA. If you're interested in getting more background information you can check out an Interview with the ex-leader of WE, Germany Kruemel conducted by Argentina Metro on SK-Gaming.com.

It will be interesting to see who these 5 great players will join or if they are going to quit DotA altogether. We at MYM wish everybody the best of luck and success in the future.
