Now all this bad language in teh WC3 scene is making the bunny on my sound system a sad animal ='( 'x raped/killed/destroyed y', 'all kill' etc., even news posters do it. Talking about eSport being a sport, not a kind of fighting... What speaks against using 'defeated' or 'dominated' instead of 'raped' or 'killed'? Or '(clean) sweep' instead of 'all kill' - clean language for all of us... or we are going to perish together as fools :(

i have nothing against words pwned, raped, killed, etc. if they are used properly, both wc3 lower rank players and sc let's say us.east+romania/bulgaria have some heavy manner issues, 99% of users can't stand losses, etc. but you can't change it. If force won't work, use greater force.

What bothers me is basically two things... a) You can't expect your average internet retard to think about what kind of associations his languages evokes, but certainly news posters, so pls try to use 'sweep' instead of 'all kill' every now and then... b) What Goat said... seems like every defeat is labeled with the strongest words available, and tbh I have no understanding whatsoever for this kind of verbal humiliation of your opponent. I mean seriously, when I watch replays I am always happy to see there were some close fights and my opoonents did some nice actions because I actually value my games (doesn't even need to be wins) the higher the more respect I have for my opponent; yet I see so many people just try to see a big skill gap that isn't there instead, which is really the type of ambition that kills all the fun imho. Plus, of course, this has nothing to do with manner vbadgirl... one of the greatest sportsman, and one of the greatest COMPETITORS of all times, namely muhammad ali, used to insult his opponents regularly, but it takes balls to do that BEFORE the fight, and it in some way it enables the other guy to give the answer in the competition, while saying nothing beforehand and 'omg raped noob' afterwards is pathetic and requires no courage at all. www.karltoffel.de - my blog =)
