For some reason i never cries either.
When my grandmother died, i didnt cired either, and i was 9.

#1 not everyone is very emotional, but that doesnt mean you dont have emotions. i cried when my dog died. i didnt when my great grand mother passed away. that doesn't mean i didn't care about her, i just cared more about my dog.

My dog also died but i didnt cried. I knew that he was in a better place and same for my grandpa. I'm not afraid of death. Nothing is permanent, everything changes.
I smile at death.. death is always at an arm length of us, ready to touch us in any moment.

It's not that I didn't care or if I cried for my dog that I loved the dog more than her, I loved her greatly.

#3 I agree with you for the second part.

indeeed its true we all know when someone close to you dies that he/she will go to a better place but definitely not easy thinking about such thing especially when you know that youll miss that someone everyday. that life will be so different now that your life cant be spiced up by that special person. that a little something will be missed in your daily life.

I know for sure my dog went to a better place. but things seem so different without her. no strangers are getting their chewed anymore, mum's flowers are still growing, we're reading newspapers with no holes in it...its just different now
