We all have different views on what love is. But I think there is only one way of true love. It is being able to love your neighbor as you love your family. Some people are addicted to love. I like to call this love addiction^^ It's when someone always needs to be loved or they feel insecure and overlly lonley. I asked one friend who has changed her boyfriend many times why she kept changing boyfriends and if she really loved the people she was going out with. She told me that she doesn't really love him but she can not stand being alone and needs have someone to rely on at all times. I think being able to rely on someone is not true love. True love is for people who can sacrifice themselves for them and not depend on or rely on that person. I hope you are all able to find someone to truly love and they truly love you back <3 might add more later but a little tired >.<

"True love is for people who can sacrifice themselves for them" I don't fully agree with that. Of course it depends what you mean by that and at what aspect you are referring here. I believe a person who truly loves you, sets you free, does not chain you. He/she accepts the way you are and ever asks you to sacrifice or compromise yourself for them. If those things would apply for the 'love' that you would feel or they feel for you that, would rather be called possession. the person itself would lose it's value, turning into an object to own or to have. It reminds me about a blog I wrote. It was called "Too lost in you" and it was touching same things, what love really is and what ppl understand through love. Btw your definition of love is cute but very unrealistic and very idealist. LOVE doesn't conquers all. That is for movies, books and silly ppl to believe in. Love is complicated and depends upon many things. It's fragile, it can change and be transformed due the tinniest things in time. The line between love and hate is very fine. I believe love is what you make of it, how you 'raise' the love to be in your couple. what set of laws and norms it has to respect in order to function. True love for me = brings me peace of mind and soul, comfort, freedom, acceptance, makes me feel like home, that there is where I belong. Hold the S cause i'm an AINT.

#3 I mean you are able to sacrifice some of yourself for them. Meaning you do it own your own will. I never talked anything about love conquering all?? But I think the wrong way of being in love is like my friend was since relying on someone is not good for you and not good for them. Being in a relationship just because you can not stand being alone is wrong and people must consider many other things before making that kind of decision. ♥All You Need is Love♥Love is All You Need♥

True love for me is having someone to come back to in difficult times to know that there is someone who loves you more than herself (i'm not talkin bout families ur mom n dad) to know that shes gonna support me in whatever i do. To know that shes gonna kick me n hit me when i do wrng. To be able to have a relationship which is not give n take its just pure trust n love. To know that shes gonna laugh with me and cry with me. To know that i'm not gonna be alone from that point onwards. Its unexplainable and i still have to experience that.... feeling and i hope that i experience it soon :) In this world of sin i hope to surrender to the holy bliss.

heheh sham ^^ i don't agree :p, a person who fails loving herself/himself fails at loving others also. She would never be capable to love you more than own, unless she stop existing as individual. A true relationship, i believe, is when both parters exist exchange love and affection equally (err okay not equally full time but somewhat balanced). as also u have proved the point i was trying to prove to asuka of love means a little the fear of being alone: <i>"To know that I'm not gonna be alone "</I> #13 Master you took my words too literally. what i meant was, why sacrifice yourself in vain, just to prove something. @Asuka: I used to think about the same cases too and came to the same conclusion. When I see people changing their partners every now and again, the question comes to my mind if they really love them and I think it can't be real love since otherwise it would take a longer time of sadness after finnishing with him/her and you couldn't be able to take ''the next one''. It's addiction of affection indeed or maybe some kind of habit. Another case are the little boys and girls, mostly at the age of 12 to 14 who also use to change her/his boyfriend/girlfriend very oftenly. I think they want to be older, cooler and more mature than other kids at the same age but I think they are less mature since it is a pretty superficial thing... May true love once rule the world :)

the problem about discussing anything related to lvoe is that someone (in love with someone) will always disagree on u since they're pretty drunk with that "he/she'll love me forever kind of idea" which in the end, doesnt exactly happens. anyways, i kinda agree on ur point. add some more latars.
