This is Jose from Manises Airport, Valencia (Spain). In about 40 minutes i will be flying to Sweden Skavsta Airport where i will wait until one of my friends comes there from Jönkoping and pick me up for going back to JKP. This is my first time in Sweden and as you know I'm going to the DREAMHACK Summer 08 edition, event where I will meet lots of "known" people and some interesting mates.
I've always heard about DH "you must feel DH sensation, is just gorgeus", and now I will be there, The largest Computer Festival in the world.
Seems that Dreamhack is a really funny place since my mate has told me right now that i will drive till Jönkoping with a autogear car. Never drove one, but will see.
During the two days that I will be there I will tell you my sensations, experiences, funny moments and all that stuff.
Time will tell, what will happen me there.
DREAMHACK, Nu koer vi!
Sorry for my latency, i was really busy at DH and I wasn't able to tell it you up to date. Well, as I think was a really interesting story im going to tell how was it.
My Arrival:
VLC-SK flight arrived earlier as expected, just 20 minutes before the official arrival time. When I reached the Airport Hall I phone my mate Nostra and he told me that was outside waiting me.
After that, 3 hours of car trip was all, Stockholm to Jonköping until the Elmia Hall.
- "Nostra, do you know that I'm really excited? I'm just a few meters from the best Event ever". I said.
When I get inside the hall, I was glad, it was the biggest hall I've ever been, "That's big for you?, then you must come to DH Winter, you will see how big it is. Nostra told me.
As It was planned I met the WCG Nordic Crew that was waiting for me, a enormous bus was inside the hall waiting for me, my "room" and some people I knew just talking by MSN, so it was really nice hanging hands with some of them.
After that we made a tour through DH halls just for looking how it looks like before the opening on Saturday.
Day 1

After sleeping only 5 hours I wasn't able to sleep more, so I decided getting up and have something for breackfast. WCG Nordic booth was not completely fixed so I helped preparing what was going to be the WCG Guitar Hero III Nordic Finals Championship stage. That took a pair of hours and at 08:30 CET Elmia Hall doors opened. Thousands and thousands of people were going to fill all the hall up, it was completely booked, seems that nobody can miss this event in Sweden.
During the evening we went around, took some pictures and meet some new faces, the first one was Cazzidy from Les Seules, It was a really extrange situation for me because she was really cute, in Spain some top gamers are not considered due to their attitude between the "not well known".
Saturday was a really important day for me, because SPAIN was going to face SWEDEN on the EUROCUP and I was really excited, I was the only who was going to support my nation from that huges halls and was going to be really funny because Spain beated the "swedes" during a really exciting match, When Villa scored during the last minutes, It was like a party for me and the hell for the swedish people.
After that I just had dinner and spent the night inside the bus because the following day I was leaving Elmia hall at 11:30.
Day 2

180 miles per hour trip through the swedish highways, from Jonkoping to Stockholm were the first moments from my trip. Two hours took us reaching Skavsta Airport but before that the cops stopped our car. It was not good, because maybe the driver was caught driving faster than the speed limit.
After some swedish explanations, the cop just gave her a receipt due to a not good working light. After that they left me in the airport and go back to Spain.
There are lots of details that I can't tell about DH, I won't never forget this trip and I would like to thank all the people were there because they helped me feeling like at home.
Nox, Nostra, Johan, Grape, Andreas, kpy, SamSam, EiNkaz, Joe, Sam, It was really nice meeting u there, and hope to see you soon. I'm not going to miss the Winter edition so,
