Several weeks ago, one of my roommates told me excitedly that he had created a new strategy in the match up of Human against UD(computer) on small maps such as EI or TR(close position) and my roommate plays Human. Maybe you have been familiar with some strategies such as Human rushes NE or ORC,ect. or even get tired of those old things. But have you ever heard of human rushing ud?

Ok, let us rehearse this new strategy (suppose the map is EI):

At the very beginning of the game you call four militiamen to rush your opponent and be sure not to attack any units but the building which is being summoned, let the left peasant build a barracks to produce footmen and at the same time make peasants. This means you have no hero but just bunches of footmen and militiamen to rush UD, maybe it seems kinda foolish to talk about this here cuz computer ud has no brain and you can take advantage of some game bugs....

Yes, I have to admit that you're totally right and the rehearsal between my roommate and me proved that the so called strategy was not effective at all. This really made us a little bit depressed especially me cuz I even had asked Mouz.SaSe about this question confidently which turned out to be so stupid for that moment.

Things seemed to end up with a failure here, BUT a real surprise came to us several days later. I was then checking out the latest replays on web when i found a game between Human and UD on Turtle Rock was finished within 4mins and unbelievably the winner was the human player. "Are you kidding me?" I said to myself and couldn't wait to watch this replay right away. "Oh, MY!" I exclaimed after watching. Guess what? Here I just give you guys some key words: immediately, close position, rush, firelord, gg :)

Last but not least, I want to mention that the human player is SaSe's teammate, so there is a possibility that SaSe may have communicated with him about this strategy which i asked him before. What I really want to stress is this story not only tells you how to rush UD on a close position when you play human but leaves us aware of the inspiration by we amateurs can make the pro-games wonderful as well!

Well, a Firelord rush is hard to counter, but very posible.. I tryed it 3-4 times and havnt failed yet, on TR closepos.. Just get a nerubian tower and mass those ghouls and stay T1...

Here is the order of how to focus the hum units:

Almost done towers + repairing peasants > hero surround (if u get the chance) > Peasants > Summons > towers not close at up > Militia > Footmen

Maybe you even have no chance to summon a zig cuz i will call a peasent at the very beginning to scout; and if close position i will call some more militiamen. My order is : zig > ghoul > Aco and maybe i even need not build towers :) Love is the force of nature!

This strat is kinda old, specially at EI. I have seen this a lot, but I gotta admit vs it's kinda rare and risky.

But it's my first time to see this strat :) yeah, it's quite risky especially on tr imo and it's almost impossible to carry out this strat cuz it's too far. Once it's close position human may have advantage but if not ..........:( Love is the force of nature!

I don't know how old this is, but I think I have seen this quite often and it works only on close spawn on TR. That map spawn is so bs for ud and esp elf. Size doesn't Matter, Speed does.
