random WC3 musings

Sorry, was sick today and had a lot of time to chill...

Some random musings about the WC3L so far:

NiP is not as good as I thought. Only GoStop looks on form. Arena, Way and NangChung are overrated, IMHO; Rainbow has FatC-type early game micro but pisses it all away late game with mass towers, forced expos or too much idling around. Farseer I thought was once the best Orc in Korea but he's lately playing listless and uninspired. Where's the mass trolls, tri-hero: FS, TC, Naga strat with witch doctors?

They need a top level NE, which I don't know there is with Check in WE and FreeDoM retired.

Satiini is this year's SaSe.

Xyligan's HU versus UD is exemplary. Play.it has a star on the rise.

Philbot honestly has a chance to lead mouz in wins this year, even more than Short or SaSe.

4K needs one more top level player, preferably NE. Zeus19 and Fury are good for spot duty and 2v2 fill ins but they've gone the way of Madfrog, sadly. Still able to win games because of old-school mojo, but for the most part, aren't guys you can throw out there week to week for key points. The only reason why 4K has room for error is that they can afford one of their big three-- Grub, ToD and FoV-- to drop a series and still take the CW because of the 2v2 dominance of Grub and ToD. But with improved 2v2 teams this year-- Moon/Lucifer, Susiria/Lucifer, Xyligan/Abver, Deadman/HoT, GoStop/Way, that's not always a sure thing anymore.

WC3L still exists? I thought it was a battle of good looks. Thats the only reason I was considering coming back. Shucks

Have to agree with you on basically every point

But, Zeus was once one of the very best in the world. If he gave some time for training I think he could reach that level again. But, as it seems he isn't willing to do that now.

NangChun has dissapointed me with the results the most right now. Farseer now doesn't have the aura he had a few monts back and we are seeing lots of upsets which are intresting...
Wanted to see Qpool in there...
but a good season so far!
