From August 1st-3rd, the "who-is-who" of the competitive DotA scene will be playing massive amounts of games against all challengers in order to raise awareness and generate support for Child's Play Charity.
The premise of DotA.for.Kids is to achieve 200 Wins in 50 Hours while taking on all challengers!
The DotA for Kids charity event was created by Miky "XsK_Samurai" Chea and Alexander "ranagard" Yeo after being inspired by the Zelda and Mario Marathon.
After being inspired, they set out to help give back to the community by providing a source of joy to children in the hospital, Dota.for.Kids has proudly teamed up with Child's Play Charity to help reach this common goal. Each and every donation is immediately sent to the Child's Play Fund via PayPal.
DotA.For.Kids is a charity event reached out to Child's Play Charity. The nonprofit organization donates gaming stations to children in hospitals who are sick or ill. This allows them to play for fun while in their condition. Child's Play Charity reaches out to hospitals to help provide video game systems to children who are disabled in the hospital. You can read more at www.childsplaycharity.com.
The DotA.For.Kids gaming teams consist of two teams so far with the following rosters:
The first team is a GGC team headed by SK. Loda to take on all International Challengers.
The map version played will be v6.52e. Games modes will vary from AP to RD.
Submit your team of 5 players in the following format. You do not need a team of 5 to participate and can play a pick-up game also! Team submissions are soley used for reserving a slot for you and your friends to play against the best!
All donations received will go straight to Child's Play Charity via PayPal.
Help spread the word!
