The first WC3: The Frozen Throne online Pacific Qualifier for the 2008 World Cyber Game USA Championship has ended. Nick “Axslav” Ranish beat Matthew “Sonic[En-V]” Newton 1-0 in the finals (Axslav was on winner bracket) with James “Clutch” Wan finishing third. Nick “Axslav” Ranish will now compete against the winners from the second and third online Pacific Qualifiers (registration closes May 30nd and June 27th respectively) and a Pacific wildcard winner for a chance to advance to the US Finals.The complete bracket and match results can be viewed at http://qualify.us.worldcybergames.com/?a=x.schedule&

Joe “tikkibakka” Matthews beat Abdulaziz “CrunCher” Abed 1-0 in the finals (tikkibakka was on winner bracket) with Alex “PLaZMaTiC” Cosovic finishing third.
