ToD, Hasu = Unfair players

What do you think about ToD allowing Hasu to win and then Hasu was 2-nd in their group. The last game ( tod vs hasu ) showed us that ToD is an unfair pla<x>yer, of course Hasu is too. Yea, maybe it was the fault of organization but anyway they should do something about it. ToD could have played versus Hasu initially. Terror, Tod, Hasu should have played extra games.
I am so angry.

most likely kode5 missed to let em play first as it was sheduled.. so dont blame the players if kode5 is unable to pursuit their shedule!

anyway every story has it's end...the dispute is over, i think...now we can't change anything that had place there on kode5 and our screams here still have no result at all. I don't think that after all these posts at least one person has changed opinion about the situation. those who support terror and thos who support tod and hasu are right in their own way.

for the future...the organisation of tournaments like kode5 must be more strict to avoid the situations like that.

"Tod: Kid, i am earning money. And i earn more than your whole f*ckin family, so relax. You got no chances in the play-offs."
"I think he knows i'm sorry for him being eliminated of the tournament"

hahahaha xD

Unfortunately, although organizers had their faults about this story, what freaks me most is that "professionals" USE organizers' faults to their favour. That's why i f*ckin posted the chat between tod&terror. Because this is just not right, it is non-sportive, it is bad-mannered, use whatever words you like, this is just not how a pro should behave. And get away with it.
However, i cannot disagree with #65 about an idea that international tournaments need to have STRICTER rules as cybersports get dirtier and dirtier - Seatle World Scandal Games, Moscow KODE5 etc, this is just insane. Hope people are really learning on their mistakes. Unfortunately, seems like not all people do that tho.

I haven't watched the replays nor do i know much about the situation at hand, but after what Tod himself replied to this topic about not losing on purpose, I do believe him. And if you want to call that taking Tod's side, then yes I'm taking his side.

And to answer your question: Yes, I would sure as hell do the same* if there is money on the line. And I also say at least half the people saying they wouldn't are full of shit and complete hypocrites.

*the same not necessarily meaning losing on purpose for a friends gain.

Also, in this world we live in, I don't see anything wrong with taking advantage of loopholes in the system for your own benefit.

It was just bad luck for terror to land in such a helpless situation.

This is just cheap. How can one call e-sports, actually, SPORTS if "sportsmen" are unable to behave like sportsmen?..
And a sportsman usually doesn't get away with things like this does he, lol?..

#73 Get away with what? Doing something that is by no means forbidden in the rules?

Ehm, there's no more or less money to gain for ToD, whether he did let Hasu win or not. It's not like he's getting any bonus from the sponsors for that. Therefore bringing money in this discussion is utter BS.

Secondly, we shouldn't be bothered whether it was in the rules or not. All that matters is that it would be foul play IF ToD did what is being rumored about.

I'd like to hear Terror's and Hasu's story though :)

No money for Tod, but money for Hasu. Would you rather "help out" a friend or give it to someone you are perhaps not the best friends with?

I know I would surely not give it to a friend if it means I would have to foul play for it. Nor if it would mean the other won't have a chance for the money because of you. Whether someone is your friend or not, they both deserve the same chances and respect.

That is very kind of you, but I won't lie to you, I would help out a friend in any way possible by abiding to the rules.

True, but in this particular case, Tod and Hasu didn't break any rules. And don't get me wrong, I'm not implying the match was fixed in any way.

I agree, so far there's no reason to say it was fixed. However I can say ToD didn't seem to play his best in the last game, but that may very well be due to other reasons. I have no reason to blame him. But I'm neither going to make it conclusive, I'd like to hear Hasu and Terror first. I always like hearing every side, which is almost never possible.

Don't get me wrong either though, if they did fix it, I don't care whether there have been rules or not. I just don't like that behaviour :). But that's entirely my philosophy, I don't blame anyone who thinks otherwise.

I agree that the rules were kinda BS since it was possible to switch schedules, like changing the play-off grid or putting "tod vs terror" first to "satisfy" WC3 observers who wanted to see a good game on the stage.

However, i would not be helping a friend if i saw such a possibility due to the rules fault, because i just don't like feeling like a f*cker and faker and wouldn't want people to think so. Nor would i talk to the victim like it is written above.

Anyway, the organization was a total crap, i can agree on this one. A guy who was one of the referees told me that it were the Chinese people who wrote the rules... Hope they improve @ the next KODE5. I also hope players improve in manners after that stuff. If I were a referee, i would just, u know, give penalty points for bad language or something like that... This needs reconsidering tho.
