User Interface

Well, I'm having this great idea to remove from my interface that action bar that contains icons for "character, quest log, inventory" and so on, so that i can put one of the side bars into that spot or whatever. what i'm looking for is an add on or whatever, some utility to customize interface so that i can modify these action bars and their position but on the other hand i want something simple that doesnt use too much memory as my PC isn't a beast ;)

I checked forums, bumped into some "Minimalist" thing that is supposed to do this, I couldnt get it running so I was hoping someone here could tell me what to use to modify my action bars and how to use it :D

I don't know how to modify but I always use the CTmod
http://www.ctmod.net/

you if u just want to edit ur bottombar, just use the bottom-bar mod and the normal barmod to place a side bar (or additionally created bar) on that place

personally I find that the site http://www.wowace.com provides the best addons. There's a range of addons based on the Ace2 library. Most of the mym.wow players are using addons from here !

Oh and on the topic, the bar addon is bartender 3 and you can do pretty much anything useful with it

http://wow.curse.com/downloads/addons/

There are tools there tha tallow you to remodel, move and shift items around, implement your own styles etc, basically build a whole new interface.

If thats not your think then they also supply the biggest range or interfaces, made by a number of real WoW players, of which a few of my guild mates use.

Hope this helps you.

#5 i've already installed bartender3 and im pleased with it, it allowed me to do exactly what i wanned to :D
(put 4 connected action bars in the bottom middle of he screen and one mini bar on the right - instead of the usual "whole screen taken by action bars" interface
