Where is Soju?

I thought Soju signing with SK was just a matter of time, seeing as they signed his best friend and perpetual teammate, ReMinD. But as the weeks pass, it seems like he's still a free agent and less likely to sign with SK.

Any word on where he might end up? I would really like to see eSTRO finally live up to their word of building a Korean powerhouse clan around GoStop, but what about MYM? EVE, Moon's stand-in for some CWs, has been struggling for the past few WC3L seasons; more so this season. Not only that, Soju could easily slide in to 2v2 duty alongside Susiria should Moon and Lucifer be unavailable.

The only other clan that can probably afford him right now is BeT, and frankly, if BeT were to get Soju to go with FoV, Sweet and Check, I think they become the favorites to win the WC3L (especially if their Orc, BeT.Who, continues his recent upswing).

eSTRO was a potential team to pick up all the Koreans who left WE, however they showed no interest in a warcraft squad, so soju joining estro is highly unlikely.

My guess is as good as yours for which team actually does pick him up..

@#2: If eSTRO has no plans to continue with a competitive, fully-formed WC3 clan, they should let GoStop go and give him a chance to compete in the major WC3 tournaments like WC3L and NGL. This is Pantech-Curitel and Moon all over again. >_<

Let's run it down:

4K could definitely use Soju to replace Creo when he retires and GoStop FuRy, who bombed out of the WCG Swedish Qualifiers and looks to be winding down his career. My gut feeling, though, is that if they were to replace Creo and FuRy, they'd go with young European talent, like Neytpoh.

The other team that can actually afford a talent like Soju (and GoStop if he's ever released) is mouz. They're struggling near the bottom of the WC3L standings. SaSe despite making it to the Swedish WCG Finals, is not the same player he was when he first moved to China, and as he goes, so goes mouz. Hasu looks to be inactive, and while Fly100 continues to dominate at LANs, I think his iNet connection is costing him and mouz crucial points in WC3L play. Happy and TitaN have unquestionable talent, but are too young and inconsistent to contribute sure points that are usually the province of SaSe and HasuObs (who was having an out-of-body experience for a few months when he won EPS and qualified for ESWC over Miou, fire_de and co.).

If they don't start rallying soon, it may be too late. I would expect them to either try and pry Deadman from SK, or try and sign the best remaining Korean free agents out there to rocket them back into contention. -_-

soju cant speak good enligsh and there's no korean in 4k. i doubt he will join 4k. i think we will see after WC3L PD5.

since yellow would not make it in future..soju is a sure cost-benefit!!!since mym wc3 are koreans dont think he will have a hard time bonding...soju definitely can take in replacement for moon..though EVE is without a doubt a player with performance..he seems to loose almost if not all his matches at wc3l..EVE still need much practice..while soju can give so much boost for MYM..MYM]Soju sounds good to!
