Observation of CHN vs KOR

I for one am very excited about the Korea versus China national tourney; not only because the two premiere hotbeds of WC3 pro-gaming, but also because of the contrast in racial allegiances. I've noticed-- and I don't think I'm alone here-- that China's top talent is dominated primarily by HUs:

WE.Sky
Colorful.GuangMo
Colorful.Syc
WE.08.Infi
WE.08.Ace

and Orcs:

wNv.xiaOt
Hacker_Fly100%
xLo.Rabbit
WE.08.LiKe

Korea, on the other hand, is dominated primarily by UDs:

mYm.Lucifer
SK.BeT.Sweet
wNv.FoV
mYm.Susiria
eSTRO)GoStop
reiGn

and NEs:

mYm.Moon
wNv.Check
WE.Soju
WE.ReMinD

Of course, there are exceptions (TeD and suhO; Showbu, Zac and Lyn), but there does seem to be a dichotomy at play between the races the top tier players choose.

Might be that the newer players have followed thier idols when choosing a race. Or maybe it just is a coincidence 8)

@#1: I think you're right. Sweet, Moon and Check have probably influenced an entire generation of Korean UD and NE players from their RoC days to today. As for China, their relatively short WC3 history has been bookmarked by the careers of Sky and xiaOt. I think that may change now that several of the Korean icons such as Sweet and Check are moving to Korea. Perhaps we'll see more quality UDs and NEs, but my guess is the Chinese will always gravitate towards Sky and to a lesser extent, xiaOt.

Sad to see ReiGn in the list without a clan tag. IMO he is right up there with Sweet , Luci and FoV and is perhaps better than GoStop and Susi. Gogo MYM pick up ReiGn and become the bestest clan in the world

THis tournie poot things really in to perspective, showed that Sweet is still Sweet, proven how much the level of Chineese players has grown. Also that Zacard and Xiot got to cocky and lazy. And that moon cant sustauin a surtain level theese days
