I remember playing through the WarCraft 3 single player campaign years ago when the game was released, when I had completed it I just tossed the game back with the rest of the games I just played through and never touched again unknowing with the future would bring... Back then I was totally hooked

Shival  Yes, I think Buddhism could/should be more seen as a way of life instead of a religion. I'm agnostic, but if I ever find the need to choose, I will certainly go for Buddhism.
Shival  You're entirely right on religion. It's a good thing it exists because of the hope it gives you, but whenever a certain religion gets a counterpart it will end up in war. (Christianity vs Islam vs Judaism). The only religion I think will ever come close to a peaceful religion will be Buddhism, in essence Buddhism itself can be seen as many different religions in one.

Shival  True enough, thoughts won't change the world, but it will be a stepping stone.

While the world may seem to be going downhill, I do think it actually is going upwards the past 200 years. Believe me, you wouldn't have wanted to live in the middle ages, nor the 16th-19th century. While there may have been 2 very sad periods in the past 100 years, I do think the regular living conditions have improved for most of the people (China or India comes to mind).
