[WC3L] MYM and Defs lose in Playday 10

It has been an interesting 12th season in WC3L. While most people had expected China WE, Korea, South MYM and Europe 4K to go onto the finals, both WE and 4K are trying to hold on to their playoff-hopes with only one playday to go.

Just a few days ago, MYM played the revitalized SK Gaming team in the 10th playday, and were left stunned by a 3-2 victory. ReMinD, SoJu and Lyn came to SK Gaming this season, and they singlehanded finished off the MYM-players. Even the only non-Korean in the lineup of SK Gaming, undead talent Germany XlorD, almost got a surprise victory, as he started out his series against Moon with a win on Secret Valley. The third place finisher from WorldCyberGames wasn't finished though, as he battled back and won the next two maps, and secured one point for MYM. In the 2on2, the old partnership between Susiria and Lucifer bloomed again and they won 2-0 vs. SoJu and ReMinD.

The two points for MYM means that they are still sitting comfortably on top of the table with 5 and 6 points advantage to SK Gaming on 2nd place and NoA/WE/BeT on 3rd place. MYM is therefore qualified for the offline Finals before the last playday, and will only need one single point against Defining Stars to secure their first seed in the Finals.

Otherwere in this 10th playday, Germany mTw.pokerroom almost managed to renew their admission to the next WC3L-season, as they beat Defining Stars 3-2. mTw has 22 points now, 6 points in front of wNv in last place and with teams like Defs, fnatic and Mouz having tough matches in the last round, mTw seems to be safe.

mTw has a tough match themself in the last playday with facing Sk-Gaming, but I think their aim should be to qualify for playoffs. But it will be hard. My guess is mouz together with Bet, Noa, WE in playoffs and SK MYM directly qualified.
Lookong forward to todays match of mouz vs wNv, the result will affect the rankings especially the chance of 4Kings for a spot.
