It seems that news from China just keep on coming, tournament after tournament, when will it end? Let's hope it never will. This time they are really pushing the limits by organising a tournament for StarCraft, WarCraft and PES with an amazing prize pool - in total we have for all games together more then 100 000€. With players from Korea and Europe around the world being invited and a load of Chinese players battling it out for three spots in the qualifiers for each game this tournament is bound to be a great success as IEST shows us, once again, that they mean business. The Chinese qualifiers will start on 13th and end on 17th of October, followed shortly afterwards by the grand tournament that will be held from 18th to 21st of October in Beijing, China.

On the IEST page we can read: "Lenovo International Electronic Sports Tournament 2007 (Lenovo IEST 2007) is sponsored by Lenovo (Group), ratified by All-China Sports Federation. The main purpose of Lenovo IEST is to combine Olympic spirit with E-sports game, and provide a stage for young people and game fans to realize their dream.

Lenovo IEST 2007 is going from good to better on the basis of IEST 2006. In Lenovo IEST 2007, the event will be divided into two parts, Professional Masters and Star Masters."
