4K^Grubby won WCG Netherlands

grubbyThe Dutch WCG qualifiers which was held in Rotterdam came to a close as of last night. Netherlands Orc Manuel "4K^Grubby" Schenkhuizen, seen as one of the greatest WC3 players, has once again come out on top of the Warcraft III Event.

Everyone was expecting a close mirror match between 4K^Grubby and fnatic.Rotterdam as Netherlands had only one WCG spot. However, Rotterdam was unable to attend as he was in China during the course of the event. Instead, DeSnodeSnoDaarD (strongest random player in the Netherlands) stepped up and gave us a spectacular final with 4K^Grubby.

DeSnodeSnoDaarD scored a default win over his opponent in the semi-finals and met 4K^Grubby in the finals. The final match came to 2:0 in favour of 4k^Grubby.

This October, Netherlands Orc Manuel "4K^Grubby" Schenkhuizen will be representing his nation in Seattle. You can find photos from WCG Netherlands here.
