SC2 playable @ Leipzig

What are Germans famous for ? Bavarian food , BMW , beer ........ and maybe, just maybe because of the incredible opportunity to get their hands on both StarCraft 2 and World of WarCraft: Wrath of the Lich King. So those of you who are not interested in fancy cars or getting drunk in a Bavarian bar, Germany can now offer you another exclusive experience. All you have to do is just find Leipzig on the map, arm yourselves with a camera and a plain ticket, then head for Deutschland.
It was today 20th August when Blizzard Entertainment officially announced their plans for the 2007 Gamers Convention in Leipzig, Germany. The event will start on August 23rd and last another 3 days until August 26th. What we are about to be offered is a second peak of their latest products in progress - StarCraft 2 and the new expansion pack of World of WarCraft. After the amazing success of Blizzcon, Gamers Convention grants us with a the rare chance to explore the vast WarCraft and StarCraft universes in first-hand. The visitors will be able to either make their way through the forbidding wasteland of Northrend or engage a Terran vs Protoss battle. And that's not all, StarCraft hands-on will also feature single-player skirmishes along with six new maps from which you can chose for your intergalactic wars.
As we already informed you, there might be a bit more to be shown than Blizzard had told us. Diablo 3 is a good guess though.

PARIS, France. – 20 August, 2007 -- Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. revealed today that World of Warcraft®: Wrath of the Lich King™, the second expansion for World of Warcraft, and StarCraft® II, Blizzard’s highly-anticipated real-time strategy game, will be playable at the 2007 Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany. The Games Convention opens for the trade on Wednesday, 22nd August and is open to the public from Thursday the 23rd to Sunday the 26th of August. Recently unveiled at the company’s BlizzCon™ gaming festival, World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King opens the forbidding wasteland of Northrend to exploration by the hardiest adventurers. European players will be able to adventure in the Howling Fjord region of Northrend and test their mettle in Utgarde Keep, a five-person dungeon located there. In StarCraft II’s first European appearance, attendees will be able to experience the recently revealed new units of the Terran race and play as either the Terrans or the Protoss in single-player skirmishes and in multiplayer battles on six different maps. Members from the development teams will be on hand to give live demonstrations of the games over the course of the event, in addition to presentations and interview sessions for the press. |

guys dont going there isnt that bad because blizzard has 24 PCs there to play SC2... so I guess you have to wait the whole day to play a 10 minute game
