We are happy to announce that our Russian Terran-player
Dmitry 'MYM.Advokate' Demichev is participating at the Russian WCG 2006 Qualifier and has reached the 1/4 finals just recently.
As Starcraft is getting into the spotlight of gaming in Europe again with new founded leagues like the FBL (Fragbet League), where we successfully managed to beat both teams in playday one and two. Especially in the FBL-match between
Meet Your Makers against
Los Reyes del Mambo our
MYM.Advokate had a good performance by setting the foundation to 3-0, almost all-killing
LRM).
Along with our Chinese player
MYM.Lx, who already won the Chinese WCG 2006 qualifier and thus won a ticket to
Monza, Italy,
MYM.Advokate has the chance to win of those highly wanted playoff-spots. With him winning the qualifier, we already would have two players from our Starcraft section to participate at the WCG 2006 which is regarded as the most important e-sport event, the "Worldcup of E-Sports" so to speak.
We from Meet Your Makers wish our Terran-player all the best of luck and hope he comes out as the top!
**UPDATE**
Unfortunatelly Advokate has been eliminated by last years runnerup Androide and later on to Escape in the losers bracket.

Escape was underrated in my mind. Bl a2, hopefully next year ... but Androide is just awesome, no doubts about it. In form he'll challenge any non-korean.
