PGL China - 1st day

The offline finals for the huge PGL tourney will start at May, 22th and will last until June, 3rd. This event will be hold in Gamebank Channel’s own Streaming Studio in Beijing, China. The gamers who qualified or were invited, received double-flight tickets, accommodation and food/drinks for the duration of the whole event which is almost two weeks. As if all of this is not enough, each player will have a chance to win the following prize money:
1st place - 4,000 Euro
2nd place - 1,500 Euro
3rd place - 1,000 Euro.

The system is a bit strange, or hard to understand, a guy on tl.net tried it:
16 pla ***1st Day*** KOF Team A vs Team B -> Team Winner 1 and Team Loser 1 Team C vs Team D -> Team Winner 2 and Team Loser 2 ***2nd Day*** KOF Team W1 vs Team W2 -> Team W3 and Team L3 Team L1 vs Team L2 -> Team W4 and Team L4 Team L3 vs Team W4 -> Team W5 and Team L5 So far, we have the ranking of these four teams. Team W3 = Team W5 > Team L4 = Team L5 and we mark Team W3, W5 as Winners' Team(WT) and same for Losers' Team (LT). ***3rd-?th Day*** From now on, individual matches for personal honor start! Every pla BO1? So we get this, WT1: Pla WT2: Pla LT1: Pla LT2: Pla And, P1+P2 in WT1+WT2 advance into playoff! P3+P4 in LT1+LT2 go home! The other 8 pla ***?th-?th Day*** 8 pla From now on, they will fight a whole day to determine who is the worst in that day. And of course, that one goes home. So it is gonna take 4 days to let 4 pla BO3? The 1st day is like this. P1 VS P2 P3 VS P4 P5 VS P6 P7 VS P8 4 winners advance;4 losers stay fighting. -> 2 winners advance;2 losers stay fighting. ->1 winner advance;1 loser goes home. 2nd day (7 pla P1 VS P2 -> 1 Winner advances;1 loser stays. P3 VS P4 -> 1 Winner advances;1 loser stays. P5 VS P6 VS P7 -> 2 Winner advances;1 loser stays. 2 losers fight -> 2 Winner advances;1 loser goes home. and same thing for 3rd, 4th day. ***last day*** The best 4 pla BO5 P1 vs P2 -> W1 and L1 P3 vs P4 -> W2 and L2 W1 vs W2 -> W3 and L3 L1 vs L2 -> W4 and L4 W3=Champion L4=4th place L3 and W4 may have another fight to determine for 2nd and 3rd Some ppl come into our lives and quickly go.
