EYE.Female with changes

eyeballers, le1a, nisse

A couple of weeks ago, you might have read here at MYM the interview of the female Swedish player Sweden daQueen, where she talked about the recent revival of the EYEBALLERS' Female section. Some notorious female players such as Sweden Le1a were back on track, for the ultimate pleasure of their old fans. As we all know, all the good things comes to an end, and the time has come for the EYE management to occure some changes to the female lineup.

We sadly notice that Le1a, who has always been one of the foundation pillars of the structure, is stepping back from the lineup. We already knew that she wouldn't take part to the ESWC.se Qualifier, but the identity of the stand-in was still unknown. Today, it was announced that Sweden Sofie "nisse" Adolfsson will fill in the empty slot starting from now, so the team can get back to its intensive pre-ESWC practices. We contacted Le1a in order to get a little explanation of the situation:

Hi Le1a. First of all, are you stepping back from the lineup only for the ESWC, or is it a permanent decision?
Heya. Stepping back from the ESWC, was really a hard decision for me to make. But it is a permanent decision based on what is best for the organisation and what is best for my company where i work. Leaving EYEBALLERS is like leaving my family behind, been there for 4 years and all of the players and former players are all my IRL friends.

What can you tell us about the stand-in, nisse? What are the chances for EYE.Female to get throught the ESWC.se?
I truly dont know that much about nisse, more then my former teammates like her and from what i have heard she is really nice and skilled. I think the chances are really good for the EYEBALLERS at ESWC, since i know what they are capable of, and I truly hope that they will kick everyones ass all the way to the top. I belive in them and they will go all the way to the top.

With this being said, the EYE.Female lineup should look like this:

  • Sweden Sabina "daQueen" af Jochnick
  • Sweden Mayra "Ipsa" Perez
  • Sweden Frida "Pinglan" Lundström
  • Sweden Carolina "Fiido" Lundmark
  • Sweden Sofie "nisse" Adolfsson

LucifroN - UnafraidHow did you feel about this WC3L? Did you like the format and the group stage? Yes the format is ok even though this way you don't play against all the teams as you did on the other seasons. ...
