CGS: 5 Million Dollars up for grabs!

When the DirecTV Invitational tournaments were held, no one imagined that the first international gaming championship with a draft and television deals on multiple continents would arise from it. Well it did; the Championship Gaming Series is quite possibly the biggest and most exciting thing to come electronic sports' way.To date there has been only one qualifier for the CGS, but there are more to come. The recent buy.com LAN was the host of the very first qualifier, and was won by 
Forbidden Counter-Strike: Source team. So what exactly have they qualified for?
The CGS has the biggest prize purse of any gaming competition to date aswell as the best global coverage. Just how big is it? It has a 5 million dollar prize purse and will be broadcast to a potential 120,000,000 spectators.
At the moment there is no information regarding how the prize money will be spread amongst the four different games. Furthermore, there will be events in five different continents; although there is a lot of money at stake, it has to go a long way!
