Prime Defending is back!

Last month on the first of April, we had an experiment here on meetYourmakers.com. We wanted to try and bring forth a tournament for a WC3 Mod, that has thus far not recieved that much attention on the competitive gaming scene. So we set up a 16 team - 5on5 - DotA tournament to have a little fun and give the guys the oppertunity to win something for once. What we didn't know was that this tournament would get the attention of most of the DotA world, and we ended up having a 64 team tournament, with some of the best participants from all over the world, including; Russia, Europe, America & Canada. It rounded up in two days of intense gaming, where some teams played for 12 hours straight, two days running! and eventually the winner was found in the Russian team PLZ.

With the huge success of the last tournament, we were almost forced to make something again, and so we here at MYM would like to invite the whole world, to the second edition of our 5on5 DotA Tournament - Prime Defending #2! This time around we will be having 4 x 64 team qualifications! Thats 256 spots! And these qualifications will be divided by location; 1 American/Canadian, 1 European, 1 Eastern European/Russian and 1 Mix where everybody can participate. 4 teams will go on from each qualifier, to the final 16 which will be played at a later date. Mails have been send out to all the teams who participated last time, asking them to give their feedback on the rules, so we can have the best playing conditions for everybody. But anybody is welcome to tell us about stuff that should be improved from how the tournament was last time. You can find the coverage page and the rules from the last tournament here. All users are requested to write their feedback in this news, so it can be discussed. When we have decided upon everything the tournament page will be released with information on rules, and how to sign up your team.

This time we would also like some help from the community admining this event, as there will be a lot of games, and it will be impossible for our current crew to handle it all. So if YOU wish to help along admining this event, upholding the rules and making sure that everything is done as it's supposed to during the games, then send a message to "TaZz" with information about yourself and former experience with event administation. We need about 4 people from each location, so thats 4 from America/Canada, 4 from Europe and 4 from Russian/Eastern Europe.

Now lets get down to business, below you will find some information about the upcoming tournament. Both the qualifiers and the finals will be played over two days, with two matches being played per day, and with same starting time both days. Information on how and when to signup will be released with the tournament page.
