Today Regroup eSports and MYM creates history, as they have been sold to professional investors. The new owners consist of people from the professional  business, communications and sports world and are ready with ”smart capital”– money, network and management experience. The purpose is to turn the team into the world's leading eSports team.

Regroup eSports I/S, who among many things own the professional e-athletes in the international gaming team, Team Meet Your Makers, has just been sold to a syndicate with competences in business development, professional sport and marketing. Two of the investors have their roots in the world of football, two others own the communications agency, Dreyer & Kvetny A/S, while the three last are the former owners of Regroup. The newly composed organization carries the name Regroup eSports A/S, and the sale is an offensive part of Regroup´s ambitious developing plans: Turning Team Meet Your Makers into the world's leading eSports team.

”The sporting and commercial developing potential in e-sports has become huge. So big that we now take Team Meet Your Makers to the next level and professionalize our organization further. The sale of Regroup eSports is closely related to our strategy about international rearmament on the global e-sports scene. Now our players get the best conditions to developing further in the international elite. At the same time our sponsors gain an even more purposeful exposure towards some very lucrative target groups and are offered new initiatives that can create direct sales,” says CEO in Regroup eSports, Mark Peter Fries.

The first initiatives from the new owners are to optimize the players contracts, to improve and expand the marketing and professionalize the finances, the management and the organization's development. If the positive development in Regroup eSports A/S continues it will be possible to talk about a real stock listing later on.

Serious business with a twinkle
The new owners are very engaged in the project and take the work deeply serious. However, they don't forget what computer gaming is really about.

”eSports is on the point of getting equal to traditional top sport like for instance football. We're talking about an enormous amount of money in the international world of e-sports, and the professional market grows bigger and bigger as more young gamers become aware of the new community, that this imaginative computer world has to offer.
