Team 3D has competed in Counter-Strike competitions since 1999, today they have announced that they will now compete in Counter-Strike: Source instead. They have also announced several changes to their roster to accomodate the change in game.
Before we take a look at the roster for Team 3D's Counter-Strike: Source team we will first say good bye to two longtime members of the organisation. Both
Josh “Dominator” Sievers and
Griffin “shaGuar” Benger have left the team in order to persue a different path.
| With Ronald’s departure we also wish the best to Josh “Dominator” Sievers and Griffin “shaGuar” Benger. As the competitive gaming scene develops and evolves, we, as a team, need to adapt to the changes as well. We need to re-create a culture to propagate success and we believe that to do so we need to create a more positive team environment. Both players have been longtime Team 3D members and we wish them the best of luck. Their contributions to the team and to each player as a friend are invaluable. |
With the departure of both Dominator and shaGuar, Team 3D were left with only two active players. To make up for they have recruited former Evil Geniuses player
Jimmy "LiN" Lin, who will take his starting place alongside an old member of Team 3D. The forth member of Team 3D for 2007 is one of the world's most famous gamers,
Kyle “Ksharp” Miller, who is returning to active competition after spending the last year taking part in a "real job."
| Kyle has spent the last year working a “real” job and upon hearing our plans to compete in Source jumped on the opportunity to get back into gaming scene. He has rekindled his passion to compete and desire to win and brings his jovial personality back to the team. |
With all these changes, their current Team 3D roster is:
Kyle “Ksharp” Miller
Jimmy "LiN" Lin
Sal “Volcano” Garozzo
Mikey “method” So
Dave "Moto" Geffon (Coach)At the moment the team has not announced a fifth member for their lineup. Team 3D is just the latest team to deicide that Counter-Strike: Source has warranted the right to such big sponsors and organisatons. Earlier this week we reported that 4Kings had added a Counter-Strike: Source team to their organisation.

we are the gamer community and I think we should act against valve and the others industries. If you'd really like to make CS 1.6 immortal, we should start collecting democratically votes in all over the world to chose CS 1.6 as the main fps e-sport game.
