Vilden and fisker parts with SK

sk

Another change has now been announced to the swedish Counter-Strike team in SK-Gaming, and this only days after GoodFella called it quits and decided to retire.

Both Sweden Christer "fisker" Eriksson and Sweden Christian "Vilden" Lidström are announced to leave the team. The decision was made by the SK-Gaming organization who chose not to sign new contracts with the two swedes. This means that a total of three players have left the team for the 2007 season.

A short statement from the organization and bds follows:

"I am sad to announce that we have decided not to renew the contracts of three of our current Counter-Strike players. It has been a very tough decision, but we feel the need for this after the not so promising results of 2006. All of you will be greatly missed."

Fragbite.com has conducted an interview in both swedish and english with one of the players, fisker, to find out more about the situation.

This means that the two remaining members in SK.swe are:

  • Sweden Jimmy "allen" Allen
  • Sweden Mattias "Snajdan" Andersen

Stay tuned for more updates on the lineup changes in SK-Gaming.

Hmm, I do not like this decision, I would rather have let Snajdan go than Fisker or vilden, I do not like this move.
