GoodFella Retires from CS

A somewhat shocking news has sprung out of the swedish Counter-Strike scene, as one of its most recognized players, Jonas "GoodFella" Virtanen, known from playing in 4Kings and SK-Gaming, has announced that he has retired from Counter-Strike.
2006 has not been a easy year for the swedish Counter-Strike division in SK-Gaming, with GoodFellas and allens arrival not helping as hoped. This is the main reason for the young swede to quit playing the game, according to Fragbite.com.
An excerpt from the interview with GoodFella (English version):
You announce today that you will quit Counter-strike, how come? I've been thinking about it since this autumn when some of my friends decided to go to Australia/Thailand for a couple of months... I decided right after the Dallas trip and it's down that road! I leave February 1st. :) |
SK.swe is now down to four players in the lineup. Time will tell if they decide to stick together or call it quits as a team.
