DreamHack adds new owners

DreamHack the world's largest computer festival has today added two new owners to the organisation. This was announced today by the people over at GosuGamers, who were informed of the situation whilst at the current DreamHack Winter 2006.

David "G3X" Garpenståhl and Robert Ohlén has have bought themselves into the DreamHack co-operation for an undisclosed amount. The two names are well known in electronic sports for working with the likes of the Cyberathlete Professional League, Electronic Sports World Cup, World Series of Video Games and the Extreme Masters organisers.

In an unreleased interview with GosuGamers David has announced a vision for a "broader esports event" at future DreamHack events. He also stated he intends to attempt things "that has never before been done within eSport."
