Walle and Vildkatten interviewed

Esnation has interviewed one of the most succesfull CS players of all-time, Sweden walle, from Sweden Team NiP. Walle talks about the way to become a pro-gamer and how he started to play Counter Strike. The pro-gamer also discloses his views on what it is that makes Ninjas In Pyjamas (NiP) one of the greatest teams present in the world at this moment.

Heres a small snippet of the interview:

Let’s hear your interesting story of starting to play counter-strike!
- If I don’t recall totally wrong, my first contact with counter-strike was during beta 6.X at my cousins in Överkalix. They showed me the game and we played 1on1 at counter-cs_deathmatch and of course that was all that were needed. It ended up with that I quitted playing Age of Empires: Rise of rome and played counter-strike at a modem-connection and at miscellaneous LAN’s in Överkalix. Then I moved to Luleå where I got my first broadband-connection.

Esnation have also interviewed Denmark Vildkatten from the swedish powerhouse Sweden Eyeballers. She is among the best female Counter Strike players out there with many victories to her name.

Heres a snippet of the interview:

10. How serious were you about sports, did you practice on your own?
I am very competitive, so yes I am very serious about sports. I hate loosing so always fighting to be on top, which yeah also means sometimes training on your very own. I don’t do things half-hearted so to speak.

11. What is your daily routine in an average day (Gaming and Non-Gaming)?
Well we get up, have some food and I take Kila to the daycare. Then I usually have time to work out before having classes or studying at home. Then I pick up Kila from the daycare, we go shopping, then home and clean up, do the laundry, make food etc. and spend quality time together until her bedtime at 20. Then I go either practicing with the clan or watch TV/studying.
