MYM says goodbye to the Swedish CS team

2010, barbarr, cs, cs1.6, delpan, moddii, mym, pita, zet

MYM bids farewell to its Counter-Strike 1.6 team but promises announcement of new players and teams in the near future.

MYM and the Counter-Strike 1.6 team have decided to part ways due to different circumstances including the recent termination of the contracts. New teams and players are due to be announced in the near future.

Before the recent changes of the lineup, the MYM Swedish line up was most famously known for their amazing international debut at IEM Dubai (2nd place) and for striking out mTw in the DreamHack Winter tournament, bringing home around $20,000 in the time as MeetYourMakers. Although the team showed great skill and determination, the decision has been made to part ways with the team, promising a new fresh start for MYM.

Statement from Sweden Marcus 'Delpan' Larsson:

I would like to thank the organisation, MeetYourMakers, for the time we had together, they gave me the chance to play all around the world in different states and im really happy and thankful for that. This was the beginning of my top gaming career and its now time to move on. Thanks to all MYM fans that supported us during the last year. See you out there!

We would first of all like to thank all current team members and Jumpy, FYRR73 and kHRYSTAL for fighting under the wings of MYM. We want to thank them for their time within MYM and wish them the best of luck in the future.

All fans and followers of MeetYourMakers can expect some interesting updates concerning new players and teams in the near future.

The MYM team consisted of:

Andre 'BARBARR' Möller
Marcus 'Delpan' Larsson
Andreas 'moddii' Fridh
Faruk 'pita' Pita
Marcus 'zet' Sundström

I am not really a Counter-Strike fan but I wish you the best for the future and I hope you'll keep traveling with another orga =)

I wonder which team MYM will pick :o

There is something I cannot understand:
"MYM bids farewell to its Counter-Strike 1.6 team but promises announcement of new players and teams in the near future."

What does exactly mean? Does it mean that they will have new players to form a CS team and get new teams for another game(s)? Could you please give more details? Don't tell me "be patient" :D
