Artosis sat down for some interview questions and VoDs with WhO
In what is an interview, a VoD and a showmatch all in one,
Hwanni,
Artosis and
WhO met for lunch where Artosis asked the Warcraft 3 pro a few questions, then went on to a PC center to see WhO play a few different matchups, PvP, PvZ and then Artosis playing against WhO PvT.
Artosis opened with a few questions about Starcraft 2 balance where WhO said it's pretty good overall for a for a closed beta, but Blizzard needs to take care of a few minor issues, among them that Mutalisks are a little too strong, Terran's factory units needing to be improved and warp gates are a little imba.
WhO, plays Protoss and when playing, WhO demonstrated that on the Asian server, PvP has devolved into a 3 warp gate mirror and generally ends up as a base race. He barely loses PvP in his first game in a base race by one Zealot.
On Kulas Revine in the PvZ he goes for a quick Phoenix build as he has tended to do recently for Overlord hunting and harassment. His plan was to follow up with a timing push with Zealot and Collosus, but he ends up losing to mass Hydralisks as WhO played down two bases to one for quite a while.
On Metalopolis in another PvZ, WhO faces mass speedlings and gets out played at the start, losing buildings and probes without getting much harassment in with his Phoenixs, but he turns the tide when he harasses with Phoenixs well enough and evens out his Zealot Sentry army. He uses excellent Phoenix micro to win the match.
Though there were several instances of video cuts across games, you can see high level play between WhO and Artosis at the end of the video on the maps Lost Templar and Kulas Revine.
WhO currently does not have a Starcraft 2 teams, but would be open to offers from American and European teams, though he says the level competition is very high in Starcraft 2 and as such his future in the game is uncertain. He says that while the competitions are still available for Warcraft 3, he will play that game. He hasn't however ruled out a future as a Starcraft 2 progamer.
