EPS UK Season 3 Kicks off Tonight

The third season has come around the bend and will tonight kick-off with the introduction of Counter-Strike 1.6 to the tournament.
Since the Electronic Sports League introduced the Pro Series tournament to the United Kingdom, only games such as Counter-Strike:Source, Call of Duty 4, Quake Live and TrackMania have been used. Now the ESL staff have decided to drop CoD4, and back the Counter-Strike 1.6 UK scene with a tournament. This now means the third season will support CS:Source, CS 1.6, Quake Live and Track Mania, with CS 1.6 receiving a 30 euro match win bonus and a winning prize of 2,000 euros.
The new season is due to kick off tonight, with the twelve teams who have for the last few months battled it out for a spot in the CS 1.6 tournament ready to play their first games. The best of the best from the UK are involved in the tournament, with the likes of dignitas and Reason-Gaming in the running for the title.
