Swiss organization ieS has released Check because of his desire to play Starcraft 2 professionally
After the interview linked here it appears that 
Hyung Gyu 'Check' Lee and 
ieS Virtual Gaming had a bit of a falling out and have agreed to part ways as their future goals no longer align.
The Starcraft 2 beta has claimed many Warcraft 3 professionals, particularly Europeans in almost all organizations, and it seems ieS will be the first to put their foot down.
ieS released the following statement:
"Today we must announce that we have released our Korean Night Elf Check. He has not recently achieved the results which we wanted to see. This is probably due to the fact that he is currently focused on the Starcraft 2 beta, and no-longer on Warcraft 3, which is really very unfortunate because we have built a future together. Nevertheless, we wish him luck in his future plans."
