The void left by the departure of miGGel and AngeL from MYM.DotA team a couple of days ago has been filled by well known veterans PlaymatE and Lacoste who are sure to keep the flag of MYM flying high.
After the departure of
Martin 'AngeL' Olsen and
Mikkel 'miGGel' Berg from the MYM squad a couple of days ago, the
MYM.DotA team was in ruins and were frantically searching for two players to fill the void.
With
Tribal Gaming International having lost two of their players just earlier today, speculation was ripe about them joining up with MYM. It has become official today and MYM is proud to welcome two new players into the MYM family,
Amel 'PlaymatE' Barudzija and
Dominik 'Lacoste' Stipic.

MYM.DotA at Dreamhack Winter 2008
Both these veterans are no strangers to the world of competitive DotA. A year ago, PlaymatE was a part of MYM after he successfully aided MYM as a stand-in in claiming first place in Dreamhack Winter 2008. Besides that, PlaymatE and Lacoste worked well together to win Dreamhack Winter 2009 when MYM.DotA was in Malaysia for SMM Grand Finals.
Statement
Jacob 'Maelk' Toft-Anderssen:
"As most people had already figured out, we are picking up our former ally, PlaymatE, but also welcoming some new blood namely Lacoste. We have been wanting to play with PlaymatE for a long time now and we are excited about it finally being possible. On top of that, he suggested we tried out Lacoste as our fifth, something we had already thought about considering both his skill as well as personality. Through our practice games and from what we already knew, he worked fine with us and helped utilizing our potential even further. We have a lot of work to do, to regain our rightful place amongst the best of Europe, but the team and especially myself are really motivated to make this work and strive to achieve new and better results! Despite our lacking performance and rough patch, we truly appreciated the continuous support from our supporters and hope they will continue to show that they believe in us. It isn't until you're down and out that you realize what you've got, and we will try our hardest to make the MYM fans proud. Welcome Amel and Dominik. MYM, once again, FIGHTING!"
Statement
Amel 'PlaymatE' Barudzija:
"Yea I'm back, dejavu! Fans and haters here we come!"
MYM's new roster will play their first game against MainLine Gaming aka
Pandemic at 23:00 CET tomorrow in the semi-finals of ESL Major Series V.
MYM.DotA team roster:

The strongest non-Asian team atm (possibly the strongest ever, maybe even beating old MYM although I doubt it). Blight and DDT will get rolled so hard it's gonna be like the old 6.57b days when everyone said KS.int was number one and then MYM rofflestomped them.

Even if I do not like too much the way it was made, good luck to Lacoste and Playmate with their new team.

Final Thoughts on DotA Most players who quit Dota don't write a blog. Dota, for many professional players, becomes more than a hobby. More, even, than a job-- it becomes a staple part of your life, an...
