Two of the Tribe's core players in PlaymatE and Lacoste have opted for greener pastures.

Tribal.Int have been a great team in the scene since their inception due mainly to two renowned players:
Amel 'PlaymatE' Barudzija and
Dominik 'Lacoste' Stipic. Formed late last year, the team went on to record their most outstanding victory at Dreamhack Winter 2009, beating
Unique to be crowned winner in the grand finals. However, following that impressive showing, the team has understandably lost much of it's morale and as quoted from PlaymatE, he felt that 'they were stuck and did not make any progress.' More information on the individual player statements below.
With the departure of these two players, it paves the way for them to join up with another promising team in the scene. Rumors are already rampant that PlaymatE will reunite with his Danish counterparts at MYM, while Lacoste's current status remains unknown. However, there is no doubt that the addition of these two players would nicely fill the void of the recently departed
Martin 'AngeL' Olsen and
Mikkel 'miGGel' Berg. Could this in fact be a blessing in disguise? Stay tuned to myMYM as we keep you on top of the situation surrounding these two players.
Statement
Amel 'PlaymatE' Barudzija:
"I am sorry to announce that I will be leaving Tribal.Int. It is not because of conflicts or internal issues nor is it problems with sponsors. I just feel like we were stuck and did not make any progress. It was a great ride as long as it lasted and I wish the best of luck to my former mates from Tribal.Int, Baja, Bane and Gordan. Much love 4 baja!"
Statement
Marko 'Baja Jovanovic:
"I wanna thank Lacoste_ and PlaymatE for their time spent in Tribal. If we don't count last 2 months we had a really good run together. We will try to find good replacements as soon as possible, and get back on our top game."
Tribal Gaming International roster:
Marko "Baja" Jovanovic (leader)
Gordan "Ninja" Prosic
Branko "Bane" Boskovic
Nikola "Minitito" Perkovic

Dunno about Lacoste_ but playmate's departure for me was fucking expected. Honestly, I kinda predicted this about a few weeks ago.
In fact his statement has further reaffirmed my speculations. Tribal were on a row, and PlaymatE is definitely a top pla | |

Final Thoughts on DotA Most players who quit Dota don't write a blog. Dota, for many professional players, becomes more than a hobby. More, even, than a job-- it becomes a staple part of your life, an...
