PrismOne has announced the purchase of the Global Gaming League and all its assets.
The Global Gaming League (GGL), known for its branch of eSports websites including the popular tournament website Clanbase.ggl.com, has been acquired PrismOneGroup, INC, with the purchase agreement including $2,5 million of initial financing.
There has been no statement however regarding the estimated $350,000s worth of debt uncovered by the G7-Teams survey, as well as the current lawsuit filed by Game-Hosting.com.
Quoting GGL Chairman Ted Owen:
"The PrismOne acquisition and upcoming GGL website overhaul are key components as GGL significantly expands to a massive slate of offerings for consumers, publishers, developers and advertisers. GGL’s goal of delivering the most comprehensive online experience for gamers across all platforms, genres, gaming styles in a relevant, customized social-networking environment is rapidly becoming a reality. We are looking forward to welcoming and introducing the PMOZ shareholders to our robust family of GGL services as we aim to become the 'Facebook' meeting place for online gaming and related activities."
