Fnatic and coL to miss Arbalet Cup Europe

Both Fnatic and compLexity have recently announced that they will no longer be attending Arbalet Cup Europe.

After receiving a last minute invite to DreamHack Winter 2009, fnatic decided to take part of the Swedish event after all. However, according to hltv.org, fnatic have now announced that they will skip Arbalet Cup Europe, which will take place this weekend, from the 4th until the 6th of December.

The Arbalet Cup organizers have decided to invite Spirit of Amiga to fill in the empty spot left by Fnatic. SoA was last seen this weekend, at DreamHack Winter 2009, were they failed to qualify from the Groupstages.

Furthermore, compLexity! Gaming have announced that they will also skip Arbalet Cup due to school commitments. The Americans received an invitation during their participation at DreamHack Winter, which was too late for them to respond. The players already had school plans which they can't miss. The Norwegian team Oslo Lions will be replacing coL in the Arbalet Cup Europe tournament, which is due to take place in Stockholm, Sweden.
